Harvest Hosts
Over the years we have hosted numerous types of events at La Chouette vineyard. Our estate home has seen many people where we have shared our beautiful views, enjoyed wonderful foods, had interesting and fun conversations, and of course consumed plenty of La Chouette wines. We look forward to a not too distant time where we can do the same at our planned tasting room with views of the lower vineyard, Ankeny bird refuge, and nearby Oregon coastal range. Group Tastings
For tastings with 10 or more people, we need a little advanced planning. We can offer types of food boards such cheese, fruit, and charcuterie, and price will be determined by size of the board. Each person will be charged a tasting fee even if not drinking wine which helps cover the group size and required space. We do have other limited types of non-alcoholic drinks which will be available to those not drinking wine. Check out can be one check or by the individual. Down payments are required when the event is scheduled.
Small Dinners
This event type can be arranged for groups of ten to twenty people. Food will be catered using a select group of catering companies. A site fee is agreed on, and a minimal amount of wine is ordered depending on the size of group. Advanced planning is needed and can be discussed at the vineyard, or by phone. Down payments are required when the event is scheduled.
Small Parties
Parties are for groups of 10-30 people. Food includes boards such cheese, fruit, charcuterie and deserts, and price will be determined by size and number of the boards. A site fee will be discussed related to party size. A minimal amount of wine will be purchased, again based on group size. Down payments are required when the event is scheduled.
Club Releases
In the past, Fall and Spring club releases focused on a single gathering with new wines and hors d’oeuvres. We now offer multiple pick-ups giving flexibility to our valued club members. These releases are a great time to hear about so many different things. What was unique about harvest? Was bud break early this year? Are we releasing any new wine styles? Club releases are also just fun for catching up with old friends. We hope you experience La Chouette wines and our vineyard at least two times a year! Finger foods will be provided at these events. Members can bring guests, but they will need to purchase tasting tickets.
Weddings
Many people enquire about weddings at La Chouette. Depending on the size, weddings may be possible. Until we have a dedicated tasting room and event area, we want to limit the size in order to provide exceptional experiences for these very important occasions.
